ARVALIS recently welcomed all partners of the SIMONE project to Paris for an intensive training on Bayesian networks. These complex networks offer a way to work co-creatively with expert knowledge to build models that help us further in our research and practice.
What are Bayesian Networks?
To many, the term ‘Bayesian networks’ may sound complicated, but in fact they are powerful tools that help us make decisions based on probabilities. By mapping different variables and their interrelationships, we can make predictions and discover patterns that would otherwise remain hidden.
Hands-on Training in Paris
During the training at ARVALIS, all partners in the SIMONE project were given not only theoretical insights but also practical skills. We learned how to set up these networks, collect the right data and refine the models to get accurate results. It was a unique opportunity to learn directly from experts and deepen our knowledge.
